Why Reviews Matter

When people search for a business near them, Google shows the map listings first, and listings with more recent, genuine reviews tend to stand out. Most happy customers are willing to leave a review, they just do not get around to it. An NFC review card at the counter or handed over with the bill turns "I'll do it later" into a two-second tap while they are still in front of you.

How Tap to Review Works

Inside the card is a small NFC chip programmed with the link to your Google review page. When a customer holds a modern iPhone or Android phone near the card, the phone reads the link and opens the review page in their browser. There is no app to install. The card has no battery and nothing to charge.

For older phones, or phones with NFC switched off, we also print a QR code that opens the same link. The QR code prints black on a white panel so every camera can read it.

What We Print and Program

  • Full-colour design on both sides of an 86 x 54mm card, with your logo and a clear "Tap to Review" message
  • An NFC chip programmed with your Google review link
  • A matching QR code backup in black on white
  • Optional staff names or numbers on each card, so you can see which team member asked for the review

Send us your Google Business Profile name or review link when you order, and we test the link before programming the chips.

Where to Use Review Cards

At the counter in cafes, salons and shops, propped in a stand next to the EFTPOS terminal. Handed over by tradies, cleaners and mobile services at the end of a job. With the bill in restaurants and bars. On the reception desk at gyms, clinics and studios. Many businesses give one card to each staff member so every team member can ask for reviews.

Playing Fair with Google

Google's rules say you should ask all customers for reviews, not just the happy ones, and you must not offer rewards for reviews. NFC Google Review Cards make asking easy; they do not post anything for the customer. Every review is still written by a real customer on their own phone.

Pricing

NFC cards are quoted to your quantity and chip, like all our RFID & NFC Cards. Request a quote with the number of cards you need and your review link, and we will send a price and a free proof. If you also want branded cards without a chip, see Plastic Business Cards or Plastic Loyalty Cards.

Common Questions

Do NFC Google Review Cards work with iPhone?

Yes. iPhone XS and newer read NFC tags automatically when the screen is on. Most current Android phones read them when NFC is turned on. The printed QR code covers every other phone.

Do customers need an app?

No. The phone opens your review page in the browser.

Can you change the link later?

The chip is programmed with your review link before the cards are sent. If you need a different link for different locations, tell us and we program each set separately.

How much do NFC Google Review Cards cost?

They are quoted to your quantity. Send a quote request with the number of cards and we will reply with a price and a free proof.

Is it allowed by Google?

Yes, asking for reviews is allowed. Do not offer rewards for reviews and ask all customers, not just happy ones.

Are NFC Google Review Cards useful for cafes and retailers?

Yes. Cafes and retailers place them at the counter so happy customers tap to leave a Google review. Ask for your run size on the quote form.
